Requirments For Racine County 4-H Horse Project Members To show a Horse at the 2010 Racine County Fair Membership- Every member needs to be in good standing with Racine County 4-H and their individual 4-H Clubs. Youth must fulfill their Clubs individual requirments for showing at the Racine County Fair (Many Clubs have their own attendance, educational or other requirements to show at the Racine County Fair) County Workshops- Every member is required to Attend a minimum of 1 Racine County 4-H Horse Project Workshop. Workshops are held at 7:00 pm at Raymond Town Hall on the first Thursday of the month County Clinics-Each member is required to attend 1 Racine County 4-H Horse Project Clinic with the horse being shown prior to June 15th. If you are showing 2 horses each horse has to attend a Clinic. 1 Horse a minimum of 1 Clinic, 2 horses a Minimum of 2 Clinics. Clinics are held at the Racine County Fairgrounds. Reminder: A copy of the 2010 negative Coggins test results for each horse and the original for verification are required for each clinic attended. We are required to ask horses without verfiable coggins test to leave the Fairgrounds. Please print the members name and club on the top of the copy of the Coggins test. This will make for easier record keeping for Colleen. Volunteer Point-Each member is required to volunteer a minimum of 2 hours of time either by being on a commitee or helping with an Approved event. Approved Events for 2010 are as follows, 2009 Pioneer Show, 2010 Tack Sale, 2010 Fathers Day Show, 2010 4th and 5th of July Clean-up of Raymond Festival Grounds (behind Raymond School) , 2010 Pre-Fair Youth Pleasure Show, 2010 Youth Pre-Fair Gymkhana Show. Showing at a Show DOES NOT count as your volunteer Point.
Ethics Form-Every member is required to read and sign the "Equine Ethics and Release Form" pertaining to the care, treatment & training of your Equine. Parent/Guardian signature also required Due May 1st to Colleen Skott.
Medical Release Form- Every member is required to have a filled out and signed "Medical Release form". Parent/Guardian signature also required Due May 1st to Colleen Skott.
Racine County Fair- Every member is required to follow the Racine County Agricultural Society Requirements to show a horse at the 2010 Racine County Fair.

This allows you to bring 2 horses to the Racine County Fair ( 1 Horse for 1st year members) and have 2 "back-up" horses if there is a problem with 1 or or more of your horses.
